Marit Literary Agency is owned by Bob Shuman, who has represented or written six of his own titles, as well as agented Reagan’s Cowboys; Next-Level Bass Fishing; The Sheriff; Legends of the Chelsea Hotel; Prophets and Princes: Saudi Arabia from Muhammad to the Present; Field of Blood: A Modern Western; The Long Shadow (middle-grade fiction); and Evenings with Cary Grant (authorized by the Grant Estate), among others.

To submit narrative nonfiction or fiction, in the areas of Mystery, Thrillers, Science Fiction, or Military, please write a query letter, which includes a synopsis of the work and states your background, along with 5 pages of the writing—do not send an entire manuscript. 

Marit Literary Agency does not handle plays.
