During Billy Crystal’s Thursday appearance on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,” Fallon thanked Crystal for his Robin Williams tribute at the Emmy Awards in August. The two comedians traded a few stories about Williams, and Boston and Michael Dukakis received a mention. In 1988, when Dukakis was running for president against George H.W. Bush, Crystal and Williams spoke in the city with the Massachusetts governor. From Crystal’s side of the story, Williams and Dukakis were not entertained by one another.
