All aboard for Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train

Oh no, not another prison drama. But this isn’t any old evening down the nick but a phenomenal revival of Stephen Adly Guirgis’s passionate and scabrously funny look at two inmates, two prison officers and a lawyer in New York’s notorious Rikers Island. It’s also consummately presented by a cast of ex-prisoners and professional actors, under the aegis of prisoner-rehabilitation-focused Synergy Theatre Project and director Esther Baker.
