A performance of the Broadway hit “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” was halted last night after an actor was injured during the show.

The actor, who was not identified, got his leg lodged underneath a piece of equipment during the opening of the second act, police said.

“I heard screaming,” recalled Gabriel Oliveira, 28, who was sitting in the fourth row. “I heard him crying and couldn’t do anything.”

Audience members said the actor was performing a minor role in a scene with the Green Goblin villain when his leg got trapped.
